Pastor Joe Stroud
Joe followed the Lord's calling on his life to enter into ministry and pursued his education with an Associate of Arts degree from North Greenville College, a Bachelor of Arts degree at Furman University, and a Master of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Throughout its 100-year history MEBC has been a family oriented, mission minded and community-based body of believers. Traditional in its base, casual in attendance; they readily embrace new challenges, guests and opportunities to serve the community around them.
A growing number of young families with their children have given the church a new energy, excitement, and a forward-looking vision of an even greater future. Many activities and ministries are developing around this wonderful group.
There are many middle and older aged members in the church, and you will readily find friendship and an invitation to become a part of their fellowship.
Your family from the youngest to the oldest is invited and encouraged to come as our guest in worship, mid-week family activities and or bible study. You will be more than welcome, and we hope to be a blessing to you as you will be to us, with your presence.
